New Nissan Navara Reveal Runs Early, Showcases New Platform

Nissan had planned to reveal the new Nissan Navara at the Frankfurt Motor Show – but it seems as if the company just couldn’t wait any longer, giving the new Navara an early debut for fans all over the world.

The automaker says that while the vehicle is currently going under the model number of “NP300,” it’s actually going to be the first model of a new platform, of the crossover variety. However, they’re keeping most of those details under wraps.

From the reveal’s images, we can see that the Navara has a bold, rounded appearance, and it’s surely no coincidence that Nissan introduced this fun and quirky truck in a bright orange exterior shade. But of course, the Navara is no pushover, able to tow up to 7,700 pounds.

New Nissan Frontier Keeps Model at Forefront of Mid-size Truck Segment

Nissan Frontier

Though a new group of contenders have cropped up over the last year, the Nissan Frontier continues to lead the pack. In fact, the all-new Frontier model simply reasserts the truck’s dominance in the segment, reminding its newfound competition that it takes a good long while to get this excellent. From starting price to power to technology to efficiency, this new Frontier has it all.

The Frontier comes with a 4.0L V6 engine, an engine with 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. Obviously, that’s a pretty big powertrain with a whole lot of power. Either way, the Frontier makes great use of its engines and delivers a smooth yet assured driving experience.

The truck also gets up to 19 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city with the I-4 engine attached to a manual transmission. You’ll also find some awesome technological additions, with a moonroof, NissanConnect Navigation, Mobile Apps, and five-inch color display all available.
