Nissan Rogue One of Autotrader’s 10 Best Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles for 2019

The Nissan Rogue was recently named one of Autotrader’s Good as New: 10 Best Certified Pre-Owned vehicles for 2019, solidifying the compact crossover as one of the best CPOs out there today. The reputable auto outlet lauded the Rogue for its great value, warranty protection, and style.

The Rogue finding a spot on the list is a given considering its sporty styling, capable powertrain, and versatile interior. But the Autotrader honor is also a strong confirmation of the quality of every Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Every Nissan CPO features a 7-year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty with complimentary Roadside Assistance Coverage for the duration, and it must pass a 167-point inspection.

“As more features are added to today’s vehicles, new-car prices continue to rise, with even ‘affordable’ models costing as much as $35,000 or $40,000,” said Brian Moody, executive editor of Autotrader. “Our list of ‘good as new’ vehicles can bring the car a consumer wants into the price range they want to pay.”

The second-generation Nissan Rogue is one of the most impressive in its class, whether you opt for a CPO 2014-18 Rogue or a brand-new 2019 Nissan Rogue. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find the Rogue and any number of other award-winning vehicles here at Bates Nissan.

Nissan Rogue Warrior Tackles the Snowpocalypse

Snowpocalypse

Last year, the Juke Nismo RSnow swapped its wheels for tracks and took on arctic challenges in Lapland, Finland. This year, the Nissan Rogue Warrior is doing something similar, except this time a little closer to home, in Canada.  Here at Bates Nissan, we understand that we are not as affected by the winter season as much of the rest of the country.  That doesn’t mean we don’t think this snow machine is super fierce!

A Quebecois company called Motorsports in Action fitted the Rogue with a Dominator track system to allow it to tackle the snowpocalypse. To make the system work, the group increased the ground clearance, adjusted the suspension, and widened the fenders, but few other changes were needed. According to Nissan, the powertrain was unchanged, and the Rogue Warrior could climb a 45-degree incline and reach 62 miles per hour.

The vehicle is shown off in a new video, in which it tows several people up a ski slope, and—why the heck not—heads back down with them. Going down a ski slope in a crossover equipped with Dominator tracks? There’s no way that’s not going on our bucket list at Bates Nissan.
