2017 Nissan Juke

The 2017 Nissan Juke may not be the most popular crossover, but no one can deny that it has a unique style. The raised headlights and athletic wheels add a sporty look to the crossover. That’s just part of why drivers love the model. Here’s a quick look from us here at Bates Nissan at what makes the Nissan Juke so appealing.

Despite its small size, the Nissan Juke certainly packs a punch. The 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine tears past the competition with 188 horsepower. On top of that, the 2017 Juke earns up to an EPA-estimated 32 mpg on the highway.*

Available all-wheel drive provides more traction and responsive controls. An Integrated Control System allows drivers to select a driving mode (Normal, Sport, Eco, and D-Mode), manage the cabin temperature, and more.

All Nissan Juke models come equipped with a standard RearView Monitor. The Nissan Intelligent Key® allows drivers to easily access their vehicle without reaching for the key fob. Push Button Ignition allows for a quicker start when you’re short on time.

A family crossover at heart, the 2017 Nissan Juke makes no sacrifices. All models come equipped with full air bag and Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. Drivers also have the option of adding various active safety features to their Nissan Juke.

Glow-in-the-Dark Nissan Juke Used as Art

Easter Egg Art

Easter Egg Art

The Nissan Juke is spunky and creative—we all know that. But did you know that its unique look can inspire other art? A glow-in-the-dark Nissan Juke was used as art recently in Melbourne, Australia.

Melbourne’s White Night celebrations are a dusk-until-dawn celebration of the culture and creativity in the city. Local artists participate and everyone can marvel at the expression of art, music, and writing.

This year, local Melbourne artists Snake Hole and Chris Le accepted the challenge to re-imagine the Nissan JUKE. Nissan helped by providing two Nissan JUKEs wrapped in a special glow-in-the-dark skin, then gave them black paint and pens. The artists used these to demonstrate simple and raw talent, drawing all over the Nissan JUKE to make it pop. Onlookers could both watch or join by using a smartphone light to draw on the canvas skin.

“Our initial impression when we saw the JUKE was it had snake-like characteristics. The grill, headlights and long smooth lines resonated immediately with us,” said artist Snake Hole.

There you have it: the Nissan JUKE isn’t only a car, it’s a work of art.

Go Bold with Nissan JUKE Color Studio

More consumers each year are looking for the best way to personalize their car, sometimes resorting to bumper stickers and antenna do-dads to do just that.  Nissan is upping the ante.  If you buy a 2015 Nissan JUKE, though, you can take personalization to a whole new level. The Japanese carmaker recently announced a brand new way to make your JUKE sports car your own—the Nissan JUKE Color Studio program.

“The Nissan JUKE is all about fun—fun to own, fun to drive, and now fun to make it your own—whether to support your favorite collegiate or professional sports teams, match the look of your surfboard or motorcycle, or just to stand out from the crowd,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations in North America. “It’s the perfect program to launch with the 2015 JUKE, which has a new look and more standard content for the new model year.”

The JUKE Color Studio provides consumers access to twelve Genuine Nissan Accessory items in eight different colors, including front and rear bumper accents, headlight trim rings, side mirror caps, door handle covers, and much more. You can mix and match a variety of colors, including red, yellow, orange, electric blue, black purple, white, matte black, and a Carbon-fiber Look.

Whether you’re looking to support your home team or really just want to make a statement, the new Nissan JUKE Color Studio program is the perfect way to go bold. Make sure you stop in to Bates Nissan today to see just how bold this program can make you!
