When buying a car, we all know you pick a price range and you want to stick to it; and Nissan knows if we don’t lower our prices slightly we’re
going to be forgotten about on the internet dealership lot.
Starting immediately and going indefinitely, Nissan has lowered the prices on seven models: the Altima, Armada, Juke, Maxima, Murano, Rogue and Sentra; all of which fell outside the competitive pool for prospective online buyers when they searched for cars based on a maximum price.
Each model is seeing a significant change in its MSRP. Nissan will be knocking $580 off the Altima, the leading seller for Nissan while the Armada will have $4,400 marked off. In addition, the Sentra will see a $730 price drop and the Rogue will be $2,300 cheaper. Nissan is cutting$1,290 off the high-end Juke, $1,460 from the low-end model of the Murano and $2,410 off the high end model, and $2,270 from the lower end model of the Maxima and $3,030 off the high end model.
Jose Munoz, senior vice president for sales and marketing for the Americas, said the price cut is not applied across the board, but “for the time being, we are applying it to the seven models.”
